Last night was a first. If you know me you know I love to fall asleep to some of the Office or TV in general. It helps my mind drift off when I have lots of running thoughts through my brain. Yesterday, I listened to a podcast by Chalene Johnson (Build your tribe) about meditation. I've tried meditation and my thoughts and stress always led me to throw my hands in the air and give up. But I listened to the speaker on her show and the tips he gave and decided to give it a try. I did 20 min of PM yoga to stretch stuff out. Then set a timer for just 5 min and sat. I chanted internally the saying given in the podcast. 5 minutes went by SO fast. I got into bed and started to read. I felt sleepy so was about to put on the TV but then said, let's try it without it. I slept like a babbyyyyy💤💤💤 Plus I woke up. Meditated again. Made my bed. And now I feel amazeballs faboosh. I highly recommend listening to the podcast!
